Darryl Hughes Kurylo, the narrator of Bone Girl, loved this section of the book. I hope you do too.

Good, but now I know why I don’t like audio books. I put voices to the character as I read and can hear them in my mind. Does that make sense?

  2. Rowanne says:

I keep going through this book, and I am sorry to say that I’m not exactly an observant 12-year old. I’m doing this book for a book report, and I cannot find the main setting/s of the story!!! The report is due on May 6. Help!!!

  3. Rowanne says:

Thanks! I am reading bone girl because I love the concept of horses, and when i figured out that “bone” girl meant trombone, I felt a connection because I play the trombone for my school band! 🙂

    • Hi, Rowanne. Would you like to make a deal? If you send me a copy of your book report after it is graded, I will send you a Bone Girl t-shirt. Please, tell your mom or dad about this and make sure it is okay. If they say it is, send me an email at, and we will exchange mailing addresses. I will also need to know what size you would like. Thank you for reading Bone Girl!

  4. Rowan says:

Thank you for the offer! I will definitely take you up on that! Do you want me to e-mail the book report to you or send over mail? Thanks!!! I will e-mail you my mailing details. THANKS!!!! 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀

  5. For any reader wondering what’s next in this dialogue: I wait with bated breath to receive Rowan’s book report, and the t-shirt was mailed to her. I’d like to see a picture of her wearing it, wouldn’t you?
